“A lot has changed for Nevolution in the last year or so. Their music
has changed dramatically as has their line-up. With two original
members, Heimir and Gunnar and two veterans of the Icelandic rock scene,
A.D. the guitar player from the renowned rock band SIGN and Magnus the
drummer from Canora, they have never been stronger.
They started out with a bang in 2005 when they opened for Iron maiden
having only released a four song EP. Shortly after that they released
“Music to snap by” an album that got some recognition around the
European underground and got them gigs playing with bands such as Amon
Amarth and Into Eternity. A lot has changed since then and the bands two
year hiatus, due to the lead guitarists/main songwriters move to the
U.S., has certainly given them a fresh look at their music. They are
coming back with their second bang with a new album late this year that
can only be described as a greatly hit oriented rock album with their
sound is now more melodic and more to the point and the lead singers
drastic change in vocal style will certainly raise some eyebrows.”
